After shooting with Encarna Yilmaz @ Micha Models

Yet another great and fun shoot! Shot mainly at Utrecht Maliebaan Station and at the Spoorwegmuseum (train museum). I’ve always had a fascination towards old European trains from the 19th/early 20th Century, thus, when I came across the several old train carriages on public display just outside the train museum the last time I came to Utrecht, I knew that I had to do a shoot here.

Very happy with my decision to go with Encarna for this shoot. She is a mix of Dutch and Turkish – her look was so unique and striking, and perfect for the ‘story setting’ of what I had in mind. She looked absolutely stunning with her hair done up in a neat bun. My favourite image is her sitting pensively on a wooden bench on the train platform. The other one is her standing along the corridor in the carriage of the train by the window. I love the corridors of these trains – reminds of the Hogwarts Express in Harry Potter, which I have always liked!
