10:03AM, Home
Woke up to soft, not-too-bright light entering the bedroom. The skies were slightly cloudy, however the sun was still quite prominent. I felt the gentle warmth of the sun on my face, and thought to myself how nice it feels.
I sat up and remembered a particular passage from the novel ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ by Oscar Wilde that I read last evening (a book I borrowed a month ago) which stuck in my head – exactly describing the moment. I got out of bed, went into the living room and leafed through the pages of the book to find the exact passage:
‘The mellow November sun came streaming into the room.
They sky was bright, and there was a genial warmth in the air.’
An interesting random moment to start the day.
