Today is my second day in London (and my first time here). After being in 3 cities before coming here, I don’t feel the need to rush to see the sights and ‘make full use of my time’. They are all around me. I could stay in this cafe all day and I would not regret a single bit.

Things have always worked themselves out thus far, and right now, I am very grateful for everything that has happened. There is always a voice in my head that says, “Don’t waste the day! Do something. See something.”

But that is not how it works. Chill the fuck out.

18:31PM, Shoreditch High Street

Took the tube to Embankment station after a shoot this morning. Walked along the river Thames (a nice, long and slow walk) all the way to the Tower Bridge. It was an extremely foggy day and the scenery looked really different. Kept walking along the river and found myself in the neighbourhood of St.Katharine’s & Wapping, where I felt transported back to an old era. The dull looking houses looked cosy at the same time.

Could not stop walking and finally ended up at Wapping Station. The surroundings were absolutely surreal looking, especially in the fog. It looked like a scene from an old rustic London story. Took the overground train to Shoreditch High Street, where I am now writing this in Pret A Manger. A well spent day.
