A thought crossed my mind recently.

All of us, humans, are merely passing through life. We all have a limited number of years around, some shorter, some slightly longer – we are not immortal. Yet, we all want to feel a sense of accomplishment, we chase things; fame, wealth, success etc. Some of us even want to be remembered.

But, at the end of it all, when we are dead, how do we even know that we did all those? It is all really vague and idealistic at times.
