David Goh is an artist and image maker from Singapore. Growing up in the multicultural island country and city-state with an early interest in the visual arts, he found his passion for photography while pursuing his formal studies in fine arts at an academy.

A firm believer in natural light, David’s work is characterised by an unmistakably emotive style, and applies the principles of pure photography; using simply light and shade. Combining influences from midcentury photography and a documentary style of storytelling, David instills his images with a touch of atmospheric melancholy; and in his subjects a sense of authenticity and introspective grace.

His love for nostalgia extends to other aspects of his life; reflected in his collection of vintage Swiss timepieces, and an appreciation for midcentury design—in particular a love for Danish furnitures.

David is based between Singapore and Copenhagen.
